because much like most things in this world time is cruel and changes people into shells of a body they formally knew as their own flesh and mind

when you look at a clock you wonder where time went

when I look at you looking at that clock I wonder why it leaves in the first place

I need to give time a reason to stay and if time could ask me of all things why
